What the source photo and prompt each do
SnapMood uses visible facial features in the uploaded photo as a reference, then creates a new image around the requested role or scene. The upload is not treated as identity evidence. The prompt guides clothing, background, lighting, crop, and expression. Because the system creates a new image instead of copying the source, hair, accessories, and subtle expressions may vary between results.
Choose a source photo that carries useful information
- Use a recent image where eyes, nose, mouth, and face shape are in focus.
- Avoid deep shadows across the face and blown-out highlights.
- Keep hair, hands, masks, and large sunglasses away from key features.
- Avoid heavy beauty filters, low-resolution screenshots, and extreme wide-angle distortion.
If you upload several references, keep them close in time and appearance. Mixing old and recent photos, or significantly different hairstyles, gives the system conflicting visual anchors.
Write a request you can inspect
“Make it professional” is hard to evaluate. “Charcoal jacket, head-and-shoulders crop, bright office, relaxed eye contact” gives you visible criteria. Include the destination as well as the occupation. A hospital team page may need a different crop from a conference-speaker biography; a channel icon needs a different composition from a vertical media-kit portrait.
Review in a fixed order
- Check whether the face and eyes remain clear at thumbnail size.
- Ask whether a colleague or friend would still recognize you.
- Zoom in on hands, teeth, glasses, jewelry, collars, and any background text.
- Confirm that clothing and setting do not imply a role, employer, or qualification you do not have.
Privacy and limits
Uploaded image files are used to process the generation request and, under the current policy, are not permanently stored in the service database. Account, payment, credit, security, and dispute records may follow separate retention rules; read the privacy policy for the complete explanation. A generated portrait is not a factual record or identity credential, and it cannot prove a qualification, employer, or travel history.
